I am currently working on a Command & Conquer style RTS game.
Here. (demo)
I am not sure how long it is going to take to finish though. I still have to sort out levels, and I have all of the AI to do, so it could take a while.
If you have any critiques or suggestions, feel free to comment.
Controls:
It works like any other RTS. But since flash doesn't allow you to use the right click, you will need to hold shift and left click to move uints, or construct buildings.

My game uses bitmap rendering, a tile system, A* pathfinding algorithm. I am currently working on creating a level editor. The version you can play at my site does not use the correct algorithm.
But enough about me, I tried your demo but I couldnt build any buildings? I could select and place em but than nothing happened.
Anyways, I was surprised to see the Tank wars rts online on newgrounds and thought the same thing as you "he beat me to it". The guy who made tank wars is just completely ignoring me for some reason, I hope you wont. Because I think we can learn from each other.

I think we're the only 3 ppl on NG making an RTS game.Hmmm....Wonder if any more out there.
Btw just checked out ur game. Its kinda cool, but I didn't know how to buld stuff.I just clicked on the icon but nothing happened.
Maybe we could work together or something . I'm a really good coder but a really lousy artist =(. I can help you with some code if you will help me with the art...
Maartenoviski, sorry I'm ignoring you, but i was really really busy. I will PM you and we can discuss on what we want out games to become.
Actually, you guys aren't the only three. I've been doing a lot of reading and tests on this genre in flash lately. My next game is going to be RTS, but it will have another aspect which hopefully will make a bit it different :)

It's moving along slowly. I am having trouble finding the time or motivation to work on the game, but I will get it done eventually.
